Gathering On Velvet Shores

In this captivating moment, I was initially entranced by the vibrant hues of this macaw flower, also called Shining bird of paradise, a longtime favourite of mine, and the lush greens surrounding it. The flower's rich colours and unique shapes created a stunning contrast with the surrounding leaves that begged to be captured. However, upon closer inspection of the photograph later, I noticed two ants perched on the flower, seemingly engaged in their own little meeting. This delightful surprise shifted my focus from the obvious beauty of the flower to the intricate details of life it harbored. I decided to title the image in a way that highlights these charming visitors, redirecting attention to the delicate interplay that exists beyond the bold colours and forms of nature’s artwork. It serves as a reminder that sometimes the most fascinating elements lie hidden in plain sight, waiting for a moment of discovery.
