Picnic On The Hill

A couple of years ago, I took an afternoon walk during spring, just as the sun was setting behind the hill. The sunlight created a striking backlight that allowed me to capture a minimalist landscape, highlighting the beauty of simplicity. In post-processing, I enhanced the image with strong black-blue contrasts, which emphasized the serene atmosphere. Silhouetted against this vibrant backdrop, you can see people sitting on benches, while others leisurely wandered along the path, evoking tranquility and peace. The deepening blue hues of the sky against the black landscape silhouette stripped away any distraction, allowing the stillness of the moment to shine through. Through this silhouette, I aimed to recall and celebrate the often overlooked and forgotten connection between humans and nature, showcasing the elegance of shapes and colours in harmony.
